Jehovah Stretch
We get a lot of mail. Everyday our mail is collected together with a rubber band. I love these things. They are so useful!
You can flick them at your little brother when he is being annoying, you can tie back your hair in a ponytail, or you can seal up the smelly garbage bag with them – and a hundred other things.
I once saw a man in a call centre who had attached his phone to his ear using a rubber band!
What makes them so useful is their ability to s-t-r-e-t-c-h. I remember when I was little I was fascinated by rubber bands. They seemed to be one size but if you put a little pressure on them, you can enlarge them to more than twice their size. Not many things are like that in a little person’s world.
